Extreme Drawing: Chair Sculpture

The first day of a new project is always exciting, and this one was no different. Asked to bring in a chair, yarn, tape and drawing materials, we were all a tad sceptical about what the day was going to involve. As you can see, the day involved building a rather fine art like sculpture from ten chairs, wrapping a tonne of tape, thread, paper and yarn around it, then drawing from it on one big collaborative piece. Fun, ey?

My drawings are the pieces in blue, brown and green marker pen. I like the finished piece, a big jumble of styles, marks and colours all rolled into one.
