A recent walk up the south bank inspired an impromptu decision to go to the Hayward gallery to see the light show... And I'm so glad i went, is amazing, and only £9 for students, it's so worth it! (The exhibition is HUGE!)
With works by Olafur Eliasson and David Batchelor just to name a couple, the exhibition is a display of how magical and wonderful something we take for granted everyday can be- the simple lightbulb can be a wonderful tool! It's hard to pick a favourite from the show, but here are some sneaky photographs I took of a few of the best!

Alchemy
So, Easter break is upon us- a month without work! (Almost)
This past project has been a real eye opener, I finally feel like I'm getting to grips with university and getting into a the flow of things again. Making pieces for fashion and working with two of my closest friends has been perfect for me, and now I can't wait to get stuck into the fashion show and the next project!

The last day of excitement!
NYC, London, Milan and Paris, all done and dusted after today! Crazy! It's been a good few weeks, avidly checking every website going to keep updated with the action, even experiencing the buzz of LFW myself with a few strolls through Somerset House. My highlights for aw14 have definitely been Thom Browne, Marc Jacobs, Meadham Kirchhoff, Fyodor Golan, Kenzo and Louis Vuitton. I guess the main thing to say for next years winter trend is start investing in some strong prints and embellishment! Being a textile designer in 2013 is very exciting, and its amazing to see so many designers really embracing the magic of printing, knitting, weaving and embellishing, they key focus' of so many a textile designer, like myself! Onto the next fashion week!

Pah-reeeee
On Paris, always the best! Masters of both the eccentric and sophisticated. Favourites so far are Kenzo and Yohji, unusual favourites compared to my usual s if Comme des Garçons and Margiela.
